When Max created this brand it was in response to seeing so many silenced in their circles for liking everything from Anime to Sci-Fi to Gaming to K-Pop to Xena Warrior Princess Re-Runs .

So many made to feel less than because they didn't fit what family and friends (and sometimes strangers) considered "cultural norms."

This was a foreign concept to Max; this idea of feeling less than and repressing joy for the sake of what others say someone should be.

She discovered at year one of QUIRKCON in Durham NC, the emotional and psychological toll this type of treatment had taken on hundreds of people of various races, ethnicities, and cultural backgrounds.


At first it truly saddened her that so many had to deal with this mistreatment.

But then it inspired Max to be a creative advocate for those who aren't always bold enough to be unapologetic about their existence.

To be a catalyst; a bridge to verbal boldness while wearing a conversation starting t-shirt or carrying an "I've never seen this before in stores" wallet or bag or backpack.

With Buy Martian Merch ™ Max shares chunks of her soul, her strength, her imagination with the masses. So they can be boldly expressive while #OnTheGalacticGo ... without ever saying a word. 👽✌🏽🛸
